PRICING
Prices for commissioned works are based on the number of subjects, potential background details, size of the work, and what medium is used.
PROCEDURE
We can discuss your ideas during initial contact ◡̈
In most cases I can work with a photo you already have, or we can begin with a brief photo session for visual references to ensure a quality image.
Portrait Procedure
While initial contact is through email, we will connect briefly either through a video call or in-person. This way we can discuss your expectations for the project (posing, size, time frame), and settle on a reference photo. We can also arrange a brief meeting in which I can take quality photos of your pet(s) as visual reference material.
A non-refundable deposit of approximately 50% is paid at the time of order.
Portraits are completed based on the discussed deadline (typically 1-3 weeks for dry media, 3-4 weeks for paintings).
Every effort will be made to accommodate faster production times if requested!
Upon completion of the work, arrangements are made for pick-up or shipment of the artwork.
The remaining balance is paid upon client's receipt of the finished artwork, or approval of a photograph of the work if it is being shipped.
PET Portrait Pricing
Listed below are starting prices for a single pet.
Please note, the starting prices reflect a canvas size of 12 × 16 inches, 100% hand-painted, highly detailed portrait in oil paint with a plain background. Each piece is fully dried and varnished with high quality gloss for protection and color permanence. I also add on hardware to hang the painting on the wall (hooks or staples with picture wire) unless requested to opt-out.
Smaller pieces and works done on paper have a lower price point, please contact me for details! I’d be happy to discuss.
The total cost depends on the number of subjects depicted in the artwork, background, and other added elements by request.
(Prices include consultation, photo session and selection, the artwork, and CT State Sales Tax.)
Additional pets will add approximately 50% to the total cost.
Regardless of the number of subjects, a 50% Deposit is required per project.
Framing for canvases is not available at this time.
Framing for works done on paper will be a small additional cost and may be quoted upon request.
Travel and/or shipping costs are subject to additional cost and time and may be quoted upon request.
Payment Methods & Security
To ensure a secure and seamless transaction, all payments are processed digitally. I accept all major Credit and Debit Cards through secure online invoicing via Venmo and Square.
Please note: For security and tracking purposes, I am unable to accept paper checks, or money orders.
